Caroline Oates awarded prizes in Corporate and Marketing Communications

Caroline Oates attended the 14th International Conference on Corporate and Marketing Communications in Cyprus in April and was awarded prizes for two of her working papers:

1st prize for ‘Children’s understanding of television advertising. No longer about age?’ (with Nasia Tziortzi and Mark Blades)

3rd prize for ‘Identifying the frequency and nature of food content in UK children’s television: programmes and marketing communications’ (with Nicki Tuck)

The prizes were awarded at the conference dinner by Professor Patrick De Pelsmacker, editor of the Journal of Marketing Communications, and Dr Ioanna Papasolomou, head of the marketing department at the University of Nicosia.
