Vicki Ashworth, Senior Consultant at the Work Psychology Group and former IWPMSc Occupational Psychology student was awarded Division of Occupational Psychology Recognition of Excellence Award for her work on the development of a new Situational Judgement Test (SJT) to assess professional attributes (e.g. empathy, integrity, teamwork) and employability for junior doctors in theNHS.
Vicki completed her MSc in Occupational Psychology at IWP in 2005. After graduating, Vicki went on to work for the National Policing Improvement Agency (formally Centrex) designing, delivery and evaluating selection processes for all levels within the police force in England and Wales. She was there for 4 years. In December 2009 she went to work for the Work Psychology Group as a consultant (and recently promoted to a Senior Consultant). Vicki currently leads a number of projects including the design and evaluation of the selection process for entry to GP training and the design of the leadership development programme for the Division of Occupational Psychology. She also works in the areas employee engagement and organisational change.

“I remember that the teaching staff were great and very helpful and the fact that as our group was small we got a lot of individual attention that was beneficial. Had a great atmosphere and have very fond memories”.
