The University of Sheffield Management School are the proud sponsors of this year’s Star Business Award in the Entrepreneur category. The successful individual will have an eye for scoping out a gap in the market and the knowledge and enthusiasm to exploit this through turning an idea, from just that, into a revenue generating business reality.
The Entrepreneur Award is one of 14 awards that will recognise and celebrate business innovation and success within the Sheffield City region. The awards will also appreciate skills and talent across business areas ranging from manufacturing to digital, to represent the hard work and success of such companies despite the current economic climate.
The awards are open to any company with a principal trading address or registered office with one of the following post codes: S1-S79, S82-S99, DN1-DN13, DN23-DN30, DN38-DN39, DN41-DN99, DE45. Companies can nominate themselves or clients by using the downloadable entry forms form the Star Business Awards website. A gala dinner at Sheffield City Hall will take place in September for the presentation of the awards, which will be guest hosted by comedian and TV presenter Clive Anderson.
