Director of Accreditations and MBA Programme Closing date: 30 November 2012.

We are looking for an inspirational director who can consolidate and build upon our accreditation achievements and develop our successful MBA programme further. Working directly to the Dean, you will have a strong understanding of relevant national and international accreditation standards and be able to provide clear and regular updates to the School in respect of our progress in respect of future accreditation activity, taking action at a senior level where necessary to ensure that relevant action is taken.

You will have the creativity to be able to identify opportunities for further development of our MBA teaching activities and will bring fresh ideas and approaches to modes of teaching delivery. There will opportunities for, and an expectation of, a strong and active contribution to teaching and wider leadership across the School and the development of strong relationships across the School, the wider University and industry.

Chair in Human Resource Management (HRM) / Organisational Behaviour (OB) Closing date: 30 November 2012

We seek an individual with expertise in HRM/OB preferably with an ability to teach Human Resource Management or Organisational Behaviour. Candidates should have a distinguished publication record, excellent performance in winning external research funding, and evidence of providing intellectual direction for research within the Management School’s research domain. In line with the University of Sheffield’s professorial expectations, the post-holder will be expected to contribute strongly to teaching and academic leadership. You must also have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from within the University and from private and public sector organisations.
